THE THIRD WORLD WAR - THE UNTOLD STORY by General Sir John Hackett The excellent follow up to his first "history" book of the Third World War. More political than the first, but still worth checking out.

FIRST CLASH by Kenneth Macksey Close up combat in WWIII, Macksey unusually picks a Canadian unit for his story, but an excellent read none the less.

THE ZONE by James Rouch Dirty Dozen/Sven Hassell style WWIII fiction, set in a chemical and nuclear blasted 'No Man's Land' between NATO and WarPac lines know as The Zone. First novel in this series is Hard Target. There are nine books in total in the series (in series order) Blind Fire, Hunter Killer, Sky Strike, Overkill, Plague Bomb, Killing Zone, Civilian Slaughter and Body Count.
